Mesa do Cume (Table on the Top) is a modern restaurant nestled at the highest point in the serra of eastern Algarve, situated half an hour drive from Tavira.

Upon arrival you will be welcomed by Antonio and Maria, proud owners of Mesa do Cume. You will discover the restaurant's modern ambience which highlights the serra's peaceful surroundings. The kitchen offers delicious and affordable dishes inspired by the Portuguese, Mediterranean and international kitchen, with some wonderful vegetarian choices. They are all created by Maria and are made with a passion for food and with an exceptional attention to flavour. You can dine al fresco comfortably on the colourful terrace almost all year round, enjoying a spectacular ocean view while having a drink or a meal. You are also welcome to simply enjoy a coffee and a homemade cake, refreshments and little appetizers. In winter the heated modern indoor dining area offers the same beautiful scenery with a warm and cozy atmosphere.

From June 3rd to the end of September Mesa do Cume is open for lunch and dinner. The evening ambience offers a beautifully romantic setting. The stars above meet the lights of the coast, creating a wonderful vista to add to your dining pleasure.
